I'd like to discuss the benefits of a cool mist humidifier. There are two types of humidifiers including warm mist humidifiers and cool mist humidifiers.

I recommend cool mist as they are safer to use around babies and small children. Warm mist humidifiers require boiling water and have been associated with burns. I recommend you stay away from them.

There are tons of advantages to having a humidifier ranging from beauty to healthy.
I wanted to share some of those advantages with you today, and hopefully, it might help you think whether or not you're using one in your home.

The top advantage for me that we live in a super dry climate and myself and my children suffer from dry skin, crash lips. Having a humidifier run all the time just helps to soften your skin, softer lips all those things that.

Normally winter air which can be so dry especially running you know circulating heat your home it can be really drying having the humidifier running helps to alleviate those trying conditions in your skin benefits from it.

My children suffer from allergies. I personally do not have allergies. They are allergic to pretty much anything outdoors. The humidifier we selected is when it helps not only clear particles from the air, but it also increases the humidity content in the air.

HOW TO CLEAN A COOL MIST HUMIDIFIER

If you are going to be using a cool mist humidifier, it is important that you clean it correctly. First turn the unit off and make sure you unplug it before you clean it. Each and every day it is important that you empty both the top and the base and refill it with distilled water.

Emptying it once a day prevents the growth of mold and bacteria that can happen with stagnant water. Once a week you want to clean it more thoroughly. Have the humidifier, a towel, a tablespoon measure, some water, white vinegar, and a bowl handy when you're trying to do this process.

Disassembled and completely empty the humidifier. For any remaining water out, add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to a half a liter of water. Add the entire solution into the top of the cool mist humidifier. Replace the cab, give it just a little shake and then let it set for 20 minutes.

While you're doing that, mix the same solution a half a liter of water with 2 tablespoons of white vinegar. Pour it into the base allow that to sit for 20 minutes as well. After time has passed empty the top completely and then rinse it with fresh water as many times as necessary to remove the vinegar smell.

Repeat the same process with the base and seeing it and then rinsing it with fresh water to remove the vinegar smell. Then replace the water in the unit with distilled water when.
